Online Graduates Share Their Experiences
Three graduates from the online Master of Science in Adult and Continuing Education program have shared their experiences with online learning in the following video series. The series provides a first-hand look into the fears and challenges they faced, as well as the strategies they learned to be successful.

Job Hunting Resources
The Academic Advising Graduate Program does not provide an internship or practicum as part of the curriculum. Since most professional academic advisor positions require higher education experience we strongly recommend students find part-time or volunteer opportunities in higher education while attending school. Networking and informational interviewing with advising professionals in the area may lead to opportunities to volunteer or available positions that could lead to advising.

NACADA is the professional organization for academic advisors. http://www.nacada.ksu.edu/

Kansas State University Career and Employment Services is available to distance students for general career and job search assistance. http://www.k-state.edu/ces/

Kansas State University Alumni Association offers free and fee-based services — http://www.k-state.com/s/1173/index4cont.aspx?sid=1173&gid=1&pgid=7&cid=68
