Dr. Yang Lydia Yang is an associate professor in the Department of Special Education, Counseling and Student Affairs at Kansas State University. She teaches the research methods and statistical methods courses in Academic Advising, Student Affairs, and Counselor Education programs. Her research interests include quantitative educational research designs, statistical analyses, Q methodology, recruitment and retention in STEM education and careers. Before joining K-State, Dr. Yang worked as a research analyst at Institute for Social Science Research at University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL.
