Dr. Kaff is a faculty member at Kansas State University in the Department of Special Education, Counseling, and Student Affairs, where she teaches within the special education program. Prior to her faculty position at K-State, Dr. Kaff has held positions as a paraprofessional, classroom teacher, special education teacher, school psychologist, inclusion facilitator, and educational consultant. Her academic and research interests include roles and responsibilities of special education teachers in school-wide reform, autism best practices, special education teacher preparation, and collaboration between university and schools. Dr. Kaff joined Kansas State University in 1997. Her work in special education has been rewarded by mini-grants for her classroom, and her published works appear in journals such as Preventing School Failure.
