The University of Idaho Student-Athlete Support Services (SASS) department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Tutor/Academic Coordinator.
The Tutor/Academic coordinator provides support and education to elevate students’ learning experience at the University of Idaho (U of I). This position fosters student success by building positive and professional student relationships and implementing proactive strategies that help students fulfill their educational goals.
This position is responsible for all facets involved in the coordinating of the SASS tutoring program. Duties include but are not limited to hiring, training, evaluating, reporting and schedule creation for all SASS tutors. This position maintains close liaison with U of I athletic administrators, coaching staffs, faculty, and campus academic support areas.
This position will also provide academic support for 1-2 athletic teams. Duties include, but are not limited to: academic counseling, academic coaching of student-athletes that present academic risk factors, assisting with course registration and monitoring NCAA Progress Towards Degree.Questions?
