Alumni Contribute to the NACADA Journal

The NACADA Journal is the biannual (published in June and December each year) refereed journal sponsored by NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising. The NACADA Journal exists to advance scholarly discourse about the research, theory and practice of academic advising in higher education.

Donna Menke  earned her doctorate in Student Affairs at Kansas State University and taught online in the Academic Advising graduate program.

Leaders’ Perceptions of the Professionalization of Academic Advising: A Phenomenography. by Craig M. McGill    PDF of article

Craig M. McGill is a senior academic advisor at Florida International University. He  earned a doctorate from FIU in Adult Education and Human Resource Development. He also has a Master’s in Academic Advising from Kansas State University.
