Summer Advising Institute at K-State

By Steven Dandaneau

The fifth annual K-State/NACADA Summer Advising Institute is only two weeks away, but there is still time to join the more than 100 K-Staters who have already registered to participate in the May 18-19 professional development program at the College of Business Administration Building.

Register and/or to review the institute schedule online. You can also learn more about our distinguished keynote speaker, J.P. Regalado, 2014-15 president of NACADA and executive director of academic advising at Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi.

In addition, know that the Friday browse session will include a special preview of K-State 360, Student Life’s new co-curricular engagement recognition program, as well as tables staffed by a wide variety of units.

Send questions or requests for table display space to Steve Dandaneau at dandaneau@k-state.edu or Stephanie Bannister at sbann@k-state.edu. The institute is sponsored by the University Advising Committee and NACADA, and serves all K-Staters with an interest in academic advising and undergraduate student success.
