University of Nebraska – Lincoln’s College of Engineering has three (3) openings for academic advisors. Each position will be responsible for advising undergraduate students in the College of Engineering (ENG) using knowledge of ENG programs, policies, and procedures of the College as well as University programs, primarily on a walk-in basis, concerning course and program selection based on an evaluation of the student’s interests and record. Assist students in understanding academic standards, major options, and requirements. Assist with recruitment and retention efforts including Red Letter Days and New Student Enrollment. Assist with priority registration workshops and activities. Assist with transfer student new Student Enrollment, evaluation of files, and delivery of on campus orientation programs.
