Options for Distance Students to Participate in Commencement Ceremony

Distance students are welcome to attend commencement ceremonies on campus in Manhattan, KS, but for some students this is not an option. For those that cannot travel, Kansas State University offers a couple of ways for distance students and their families to participate in the commencement ceremony.

Virtual Commencemen
A virtual commencement ceremony website is available by for distance education degree candidates unable to attend their K‐State commencement ceremony in person. The website,http://www.dce.k-state.edu/students/commencement/, includes a listing of students earning degrees through distance education, a place for family and friends to post congratulatory messages to their graduate, a commencement address, music and other commencement‐related offerings.
