A live chat will be held Thursday, November 11, 2010, 8 pm (CST) focused on the portfolio required for the MS in Academic Advising. The primary purposes of the session are to discuss topics and to respond to questions related to the portfolio that serves as the capstone project for the master’s degree. This session will be conducted through Wimba, an interactive system that is part of K-State Online. In addition, the session will be archived and available for viewing at a later date.
If you are planning to complete the degree within the next two semesters, participating in the live session or viewing the archived session is a requirement. The session will provide valuable information and discussion leading to the preparation and submission of quality portfolios that demonstrate students’ knowledge and application of the learning outcomes. For those planning to complete the degree later, you are welcome to attend.
Please review the portfolio requirements document prior to the session.
